Get To Know Pelle: Pulse's Feel Good Manager

14.10.2020 Team

Pelle is the Feel Good Manager in our Hamburg office and has been with the company for 2 years. A keen foodie, football lover and nap taker, Pelle has become an integral member of the team. We caught up with Pelle to talk to him about his Pulse journey and find out more about our favourite empawyee!

Have you ever had a nickname? What was it?

Not many people know this, but Pelle actually is my nickname! My full name is Pellmann Hennig Jr.

What was your first job?

My first ever job was being a nanny. However, after a lot of soul searching, I decided to retrain and now I am a professional Feel Good Manager in an agency - the conditions are way better & working hours are more flexible! We have amazing CEOs who don't seem to mind if they catch me secretly napping on the job, or encouraging my colleagues to join me in a game of office football during meetings.

What was your favourite fairytale as a child?

Lady and the Tramp! I love Spaghetti with meatballs so much. One day I hope to share my own plate with a lovely lady dog...

Are you a clean or messy person?

Definitely a messy person. Thankfully I have my own personal housekeeper who lives-in. I honestly don't know how other dogs manage to hold down a full-time job without their own human to take care of things.

If you were a super-hero, which powers would you have?

I wish I had telekinetic powers to move food to the edge of the table in order to better grab it. I've actually been trying it out in the office, staring really hard at people in the hope that their lunch magically whizzes towards me, but there hasn't been much progress so far which has been disappointing.

What is your favourite snack?

I am not very picky when it comes to snacks, I've always prided myself on my open mind and wide palette. I do find that humans can be quite narrow-minded and judgemental sometimes — marrowbone is just incredibly delicious, you guys have no idea and won't try it either!

Which of the five senses would you say is your strongest?

Definitely my nose! If there is a snack in a 5km radius, I will know about it.

If you had to describe yourself as a human being, who would it be?

I'd say I would be a Brad Pitt kind of human: a real softie but smart, good looking, approachable, adorable, and loved by many.
